Bud Light joins Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful for Improvement Efforts
Hometown Hillsborough for Oct. 3rd, 2014 from Tampa Bay Times
Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful was recently chosen to be a part of a national community improvement effort sponsored by Bud Light. Volunteers came from all over the Tampa Bay area to the “Do Good. Have Fun” event. Enhancements were made to the Courtney Campbell Causeway trail, including environmental education signage installed, dunes created, gardens planted, shelters spruced up and monofilament recycling stations and cigarette butt collection receptacles were installed. After completion of the projects, volunteers celebrated their accomplishments at Hogan’s Beach with a picnic lunch and live music hosted by Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful, Pepin Distributing and Bud Light. The community improvement event was part of Bud Light Volunteering Series in more than 50 other communities across the country. Have Fun” event.
