History
Pepin Distributing Company was founded by Arthur โArtโ Pepin in 1967 when he was awarded the Tampa Marketplace by Anheuser-Busch. Under his leadership, the company grew significantly in the beverage distribution industry. In 1981, Thomas โTomโ Pepin took over as President and CEO, continuing the company's expansion and success.
In 2021, Pepin was sold to Redwood Capital Investments, which also owns Silver Eagle Distributors, based in Houston, and Heidelberg Distributing Company operating in Ohio and Kentucky. Despite these changes, Pepin remains privately owned and committed to upholding the legacy of its founder with Greg McLeod, an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, currently serving as President.
Over the years, Pepin has expanded its offerings to include wine, spirits, and a myriad of non-alcoholic beverages, becoming the premier total beverage solution provider for the Tampa Bay area and remains committed to its mission of delivering excellence through superior products for all to enjoy.
