Pepin Distributing Company, a Tampa, Florida, beer distributor, celebrated American Craft Beer Week by hosting the Third Annual Brews with Attitude Craft Beer Festival. The festival highlighted the growth of craft beer and showcased Pepin’s dedication to expanding and growing the craft beer market in Tampa.
More than 1,200 people attended the event, including retailers, brewery representatives and beer lovers. The festival featured more than 100 beer brands from coast to coast, eight food trucks and live music. The festival was an opportunity for Pepin to introduce retailers to the many brands they distribute.
By many accounts, the event was a huge success, and many participants commented about its benefit to the craft beer industry.
Bruce Talcott, co-founder & managing partner of Cold Storage Craft Brewery based in Tampa, Florida, said, “Brews with Attitude Craft Beer Festival hosted by Pepin Distributing Company provides a great mix of networking among breweries, retailers and the craft beer fans.”
Talcott added that Pepin provides a great venue and the event is beneficial to all participants.
Kevin Miller, who handles customer relations for Bold City Brewing in Jacksonville, Florida, said, “We really enjoyed ourselves and thought it was a great event and that we were very well represented.”
Clay Yarn, co-founder & president of Big Storm Brewing based in Odessa, Florida, echoed that sentiment, “Brews with Attitude Craft Beer Festival is an annual reminder and display of Pepin’s commitment to their craft brewery partners and the retailers that support the craft.”
The festival also showcased Pepin’s dedication to serving their community. Many of the profits went to Pepin Academies, a Tampa charter school specializing in educating students with learning disabilities. Oytun Tutuncu, Pepin’s interactive marketing coordinator, said the company always “pays special attention to make sure that every event we host benefits our community in some way.”
