Pepin Distributing Co., a beer distributor in Tampa, has taken to social media to connect with their customers.
“We are now using social media to connect with our consumers more aggressively,” said Bill Gieseking, director of marketing for Pepin, in an email. “We are developing retail activation strategies with interactive marketing to increase traffic to our retail partners and for our promotional efforts.”
The 46-year-old company was founded byArt Pepin. Today, his son, Tom Pepin, is president and has overseen an era of considerable growth. This year, the company underwent a huge facilities expansion, increasing its distribution warehouse space by 56 percent and its refrigerated draught cooler by 64 percent, brining the total space to 334,000 square feet, its website said.
In August, the company hosted Mike Wolfefrom the History Channel Series “American Pickers,” while he was in Tampa Bay promoting American Vintage Hard Tea.
